Anyone have a SleepyPod? I really need this like I need a hole in the head. But It looks so nice! The reviews are good and It looks extremely well made. Sleepypod® Luxury pet carrier | Cat Carrier | Dog Carrier It is pricey.. but I am thinking we deserve it right??? I am waiting to order until tomorrow to see what sights are offering good cyber monday deals! It does convert into a car seat and has won many awards. It has been crash tested and passed! We currently have a Snoozer which I love but lately Taycie has been getting nervous in the car. I was driving on the freeway and hit those pesky noise maker things on the side of the freeway and it really traumatized her. Soo she have been in her crate but this looks so cozy and cute! |
It definitely looks nice. Would you use it just as a car seat? It looks a little bulky as a carrier, but comfy for Taycie! |
I like those carriers that are slimmer and not so bulky seeming to heft around or carry next to you through crowded aisles. It is so wide it would be harder to get it into my front seat of the car as my seat is so close to my steering wheel. Tibbe seems to like the security of his carrier being "close" so it supports him on both sides, not allowing him a lot of room to fall around in it should it tilt some. That is cute, though, and handy for those that want one item to serve two jobs! |
Carrier. Taycie goes to work with me so then instead of transporting her from carseat to crate or vise versa then when I get to work she is already to go and I could that instead of my crate. |
Ok.. I should rephrase this.. not carrier... more like crate/carseat |
I like that. I might get one for morgan |
Wow I am in love with it. I want one, but yikes with that price. I'm bookmarking the site, maybe after the holidays we can indulge. |

Oh totally... I can't decide.. I think I want the Air.. But I really like the pod. You can seatbelt both in and they both have been crash tested.. The reason I like the air is she can go in on the front.. like a crate.. because I want to make taking her to work easier... I think trying to get into it from the top like the main circular model might be a pain in the neck.. because I can't see her able to go in and out of it by herself... Hmmmm unless I unzip.. it which that is so easy really lol So... Tell me.. if you were to buy this.. what would be your selling point.. im deciding between the Air and not the mini but the bigger circular dome one... |
Ok, since you are planning on carrying it in and out I think I would pick the air. It seems like it would be more convenient to me. But that is just my opinion. Lol. Don't you just love making decisions for these little ones!!?? |

Just ordered the Red Sleepypod Air on Fab.com!!!!!!!!!! Now I can't wait! |

I canceled my order on FAB.com and ordered it from Funny Fur. After I ordered it I got an email saying it would ship in 11-20 days.. Ya... No Thanks! So I ordered it on Funny Fur and the total was only 9.60 more. I will pay that to get it here! I want it before Christmas, since we are going home and I would be nervous it wouldn't be here in time! |
Fab is evil... So many things you see that you "need" like Guinness's flame shirt that lights up when he barks LOL but it does take FOREVER to get stuff!!!! |

Well I am glad I cancelled! They have good prices but almost a month later to get it shipped, that doesn't include the time for it to arrive...Ya, No Thanks! |

Yay!! You should take some pictures when you get it. |
OMG.....What I wouldn't do to be able to afford something like this for my Gizmo,,, he would love the Air style one. Shucks.....maybe one day....(sigh),,, They are really nice and I have to agree that the circular one would be kind of bulky to carry. Cynthia |
