Hahaha...this is what I was scrolling down to post....too funny! Anyway I second that OP! |
Ok got to meet up with said puppy. He is a LOVER but...... Ahi does not like him at all! She growled at him a few times.(not a play growl either) She has been around other Yorkies and other breeds and loves to play with them. He is VERY hyper and about 12-15 lbs. I'm afraid he might hurt her. :( He was fine with my kids and he isn't too well trained. I know I could work with him but he is not fixed and they didn't answer my question when I asked if he marks. I think he has ticks also. When I petted him his back had bumps which felt like ticks. I didn't want to look and be rude.... |
Eww, was this the pup you posted a pic of on FB? I thought he was a puppy. |
He is going to be 2 yrs. old. No the pic was of a different mixed breed pup that my hubby's cousin has. |
I just saw this thread and what a cutie he is. I'm sorry it didn't work out, but there is another one for you somewhere out there! I hope you find another soon! |

Any dog that is being re homed means there are issues either with the owners or the pet. It's your right to investigate all the possible problems. I don't think I would pay a lot of money for a dog that may have several potential problems. It is one thing to rescue a dog, it is something else to pay money for a dog that may require a lot of retraining or have some serious medical issues. The people need to be truthful about what the real issues with the dog are. |

Congrats on the new home, I hope it all goes well! I too recently bought my first new house and low and behold, somehow ended up with a new pup. Funny how that happens. But when I'm watching my Dallas chase the puppy around the yard, all the headaches with home purchase + reno + puppy training were worth it! Good luck! |
Sorry things did not work out |
The bumps might have been doggie pimples. My Chibi had a bad case of those. A few months of exfoliating shampoo every week cleared it up though. Ahi might have not liked him as much because he was unneutered. Those in tact males have one thing on thier minds. I hope the lady is making sure whoever adopts him neuters him, she should neuter him before he is adopted out. |
