Keylo Update...
 

Oh my it was a long drive to baileys island maine but so worth it!:D it is most gorgeous and dh and i wanna move now! haha:eek:

so we get home and cedric n lola are doing better than i expected. lola is not thrilled and cedric has been the most cordial of the two! hes such a gentleman. :cool:

i took a four day weekend so we could adjust and all that. thursday on the drive home i noticed a cough. we get home and my daughter comments on it. so then 530 am friday morning keylo is screaming while trying to poop. i put the warm water on and was able to massage her and help her pass it. to the vets we go on friday. i wasnt taking any chances period.

shes 2 lbs 12 oz, between 15 and 16 weeks and the vet did a complete check ova! plus with just being spayed and all the transit she has probably be bond up and her stomach muscles are still tender. so she has kennel cough and did not have enough moisture in her body to pass her poop w/o pain. we got mineral oil for her poop. i also got soft wellness canned puppy food and added a bit of warm water to her hard kibble and she gobbles it right down. i will feed her 4 times a day and guess what......

WE HAD OUR FIRST NON CRYING POOP!! woo hoo the things that make a furr kidz momma happy! shes actually pooped like six times this morning and her belly is feeling much better.

so shes doing great today on her third dose of clavamox for the cough. still coughing with excitement. she didnt have a fever so that was a relief! im very thankful all the things that are wrong, we can fix.

shes a lil doll and im so in love with her. dh and dd insisted on keeping her name so we compromised with the spelling!

now i have a 3 pack and im loving every minute of it!!! have a great rest of your weekend everyone. im thankful for u all on yt helps me be a better mom!

Thanks for the photos and update. We had the screaming poop thing with Julia Rose too right after we brought her home. We added boiled chicken and brown rice. We also did a tiny bit of pumpkin and karo licked from our fingers.

She is beautiful! I am glad she's doing better. I am looking forward to watching her grow:)

Keylo is such a cutie, but I am confused, is she a foster or are you keeping her and did she get spayed already at 15 weeks. I guess I am out to the loop because I did not realize you were getting a new puppy, Congratulations she is adorable.
