Weighty problem? Oh no no replies yet...... I have tried to look on website that is suggested on one of the forums but i could not get it right. Hope that somebody could help me. |
We used to have a weight chart on here provided by a breeder/member but she passed away and her website shut down so we no longer have it. You can take the 12 week weight and double it and it will give you an estimate of an adult weight. Your vet is the best one to tell you if yours is progressing the way they should |
Here is a link to a growth chart: 7 - PUPPY GROWTH CHART - MYSTIC MOUNTAIN KENNELS You would have to convert your puppies weight to lbs. Here is a calculator to do that: converting kilograms and pounds Your puppy weighs 2.6 lbs. If I am reading the growth chart correctly I think the predicted adult weight of your puppy would be 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. Of course sometimes the weight charts can be way off. Some adults can really get overweight and some will stay trim. A lot depends on the dogs structure. |
thank you ..pippie weight Thank you soooo much.... God bless :) |
There have been many who said the previous chart did not accurately represent how their dogs grew. With so many people breeding Yorkies of various backgrounds it can be difficult to predict an outcome. You do want to make sure that your dog is regularly putting on weight. |
