I had to stay at a hotel last night due to hardwood floors being stained. My girls have never been anywhere over night so it was an experience. I used the Comfort Zone spray and it helped. In the picture in the carrier, poor Pixie is squished behind them. But that's how she likes it. I had to make a way for them to get on and off the bed so I used the chair cushions and footstool. I had them sleep in the play yard since I couldn't trust them not to try and jump off the bed during the night. They were all pretty good but stressed. Poor Cali ended up with bloody diarrhea this morning so we ran to the vet for some medicine and she is doing much better. We are all home now.

I know you are glad the sleepover in the hotel is over and glad the girls did ok. So sorry Miss Cali had the bloody diarrhea:( My mom and dad's biewer does that when she gets stressed.
BTW....love your new floors!!!!

What a cute idea to make stairs for them! Gwenni gets bloody diarrhea from being stressed too. Hopefully Cali won't have a repeat.

How'd they do with the strange noises and whatnot? That's the biggest issue we have if we stay in a hotel. Mine like to protect us by barking at everything. Did you have to special order that spray?

So glad you are home now and they are better, Zoey came home with bloody diarreah yesterday, i guess the stress the old owners put her thru.. but she is well now , I had medicine here so I knew.. congrats on the new floors they look great..

They are such cuties. Sorry they were so stressed and that Cali had bloody diarrhea. The floors look great.

Thanks. Roxie baked a couple of times but just a few barks. I ordered the spray from Amazon. I really think it works. When Cali was restless, within 15 minutes of spraying the Comfort Zone she was sleeping peacefully.

I absolutely LOVE your new floors! I will be so happy for you when you are finally done with all that and can get your house back in order and relax a bit. I am so glad the Comfort Zone has helped and you are so creative in making steps out of the cushions. Your babies look so cute in the pictures and their coats are so shiny!

Thanks. Cali is better, Roxie now has diarrhea and Pixie was throwing up during the night. Today they are still zonked out.

Joel loved the hotel we stayed in when we got our roof done, we were there for a month:eek:
But he was young so thats why it didnt bother him, he thought he was the king of the place lol

Thanks! Their tummies all seem settled down but they are still worn out. One more day on Tuesday that we have to be out all day. I'm going to my daughters apt for the day.

I'm sorry to hear about the tummy upsets. The girls look adorable camping out in the hotel. I like the "stairs" you made to the bed. :)

Patti, it looks like the worst is over with the floor project, and wow the new wood floors look great.

I did the same thing at my house 2 yrs. ago, and am so happy to be free of carpet. Wood floors and tile are so much cleaner and easier to maintain, especially with several fur kids.
