Questions about diapers Hi All, I may have to start putting Nikki in diapers, I've never used them before. If I put them on at night and she pee's in it will I have to give her a bath in the morning after laying in it all night? What if she has to poo, I'm not liking the thought of this. If you have used diapers please tell me about it. Thanks LWC |
If she pees in the diaper, it is like a Pampers...it wicks the wet away from her body....pee her before she goes to bed....does she get up at night often to pee? How big is she? If she is little, she only pees a tablespoon or so...that diaper can easily handle that....you have to catch her before she poops, that can make a small mess for you...I pee my girls before bedtime, then put the diapers on, and during the night, they may pee a couple of times overnight, the diaper is cool...I take it off in the am, wipe their girly parts with a baby wipe, they eat breakfast, then they go out and potty....I catch them before they poop in the diaper. |
Why do you want to use diapers? |

There is nothing wrong with using diapers or putting panties on her for that reason. |
Awe I am sorry I know how you feel about using diapers, we had to with our Boxer as she got older. We bought sensitive baby wipes with no fragrance and would wipe her private area with them. If she had larger accidents it would require a bath but she was 75lbs so her larger accidents were very large. Prayers for you and Nikki. |

We put baby diapers on our yorkie and maltese when they are in season. Since the kids don't want to mess with the diapers, they just leave them in the diapers until we come home and a lot of times they have already peed in their diaper. That has never been a problem. I had one poop in the diaper before, but it has stayed real close to where it comes out and hasn't really caused a big mess. I wish you and Nikki the best. |
