Hi Jacqui. We checked out that vet as well. He worked at the emergency before he opened right? His hospital is beautiful very impressive.......but....he quoted me over $500.00 to fix Wallee. :-( |

I paid 250.00 for Orion...I may have to keep looking if he is that expensive! |
I just got Julia Rose today and my vet never saw a parti Yorkie either. She was passed around to all the techs. They snapped pics on their phones too LOL |
It was almost $600 in total costs for Priness' spay. I elected for some extras on the side if caution. I see it as an investment in what she provides us with, pets are sometimes an expensive investment, but the return is priceless. |

I agree Jacqui. The quote had lots of extras added which the vet tried to hard sell on. My vet is basically offering almost the same for three and change. I don't mind paying for my baby to get the best health care but we all know these new vets starting out with all new expensive equipment are going to charge more to cover the costs they have incurred. |

Hi Jacqui: sorry I took a while to get back to you. We have been trying to "Wallee escape proof" our back yard...little devil found his way into the neighbor's yard today barking at the dogs next to them. I go to Whitby Animal Hospital on Garden. The vet there used to breed yorkies. |
Thanks Cindy..I will check them out...Makowal is too expensive...Jersey's shots, Revolution cost me 300.00..:eek::eek:! Scared to ask what her spay will cost me.... |
I got a quote from my vet Elvis' alteration will be 400-450. If he beeds extra meds give it can reach 500 Again I an having some extras for safety prevloid work and meds but my vet ibcludes that and uses I foget now a safet anesthesia and a follow up appointment. All males are given disolving stiches and a liquid band aid but this can be changed at owners request. I didn't realize at Princess' but with our vet when you sign the alteration paperwork part of it is a n agreement to physically bring your pet back in for a follow up exam and to call and come in to jer for any emergency within 8 days of the surgery. I had to add and laugh apparently testicular implants are a new fad my vet is advising against! |
Wow...Orion cost me 250.00 that was with follow up after surgery and pain meds to go home with...500.00 is alot for a male IMO. LOL implants ...OMG.... and the purpose of these implants is what exactly?? |
