How do your dogs wake you up in the am? Brody sleeps above my pillow and rests his head on my pillow :love:. He has started to roll over and whack me in the face with his paw when it's time to wake up :sfunslap: He's got very soft paws and I don't mind :p Sophia ALWAYS wakes me up with kisses :kiss2wm: |
My Bella will sleep till we get up. My Chewbacca wakes me by licking my eyes and takes his paw and rubs my face. Yesterday I was laying on the couch acting like I was sleeping. He started licking my eyes to wake me. Too funny! |
Toki will also come sit on the pillow and lick our faces. If we ignore her, she will give a little growl and a paw poke to the head lol When she has to go out, she has to go! |
Georgie will sleep until I get up. If I wake up early he looks at me like I am crazy lol! He does on occasion wake his Daddy up in the middle of the night to go potty by licking his cheek or nose:) |
Can we have Brody for Finny? (JK) When Finny hears the alarm go off, she'll run all around the bed, then she starts body slamming any heads she can find. Then she tries to find my face or ears and starts licking me to death! She does the same thing going to bed.:D |
Mina wake ME up? Are you kidding? I quietly leave her in our bed and cover her back up so not to disturb. She gets up about an hour later and quietly whines for me to get her off of the bed. Then she lays on my chase lounge for another 30min,,then and only then is she awake enough to go outside to potty. |
Awww to cute. Callie does one woof and then waits a minute or two and does it again after the second one she will cry. She likes to sleep in though mostly so it is normally me telling her to get her lazy butt up and go potty so I can feed her lol. When I was growing up we had a lab mix and when it was time for me to get up she would say Hank do you wanna wake Taylor up lets go wake Taylor up and they would walk to my room and Hank would jump right in the middle of me and lick my face. She would get so excited when my mom would ask her if she wanted to wake me up. |
Copper walks on me or stands on me. I keep putting him on the bed to my side, but he climbs back up and stands there. He will lick my face if I don't get up. He is just telling me he wants to go out, NOW:rolleyes:. |
Lol, these sound cute. Joel sleeps under my blanket next to my leg every night, and if I sleep too late he will wake me, so the first thing he does is nicely touch my face with his nose, if that doesnt work he will dig my mattres(which is when I usualy get up) and when Im really tired and that doesnt work he will then pull my hair:eek: I would hate to know what he does if I dont wake for that lol |
when the alarm goes off, they all start rattlin their cages and i open the doors and they run around like a bunch of maniacs then its outside to potty |
Eddie would sleep all day if I did, but Jillie gets impatient. She'll hop up and down off the bed and walk across my body. The worst offender is my Chesapeake Bay retriever. She starts pacing the halls about 2 hours before I want to get up. Jillie will often bark at her, making it even worse. |
Bogie is usually the first one to wake up. He sleeps glued to my side and will jump from my side (I am a side sleeper) to DH side and will do this back and forth until we get up. Jada sleeps on her own pillow and she just chills until we get up, because Bogie won't relent, until we all get out of bed:D |

such a cute thread, Lola is a little sleepyhead, we get up very early, so when she hears the DH and I stirring she gets a little closer to me and rolls over for a bellyrub, then after I go potty I lift her out of bed and cradle her like a baby and carry her downstairs and gently put her in her princess bed, where she will snooze for several more hours, we get up around 5:30 and if I don't make her go potty she can wait till around 9 to want to go outside. I have a lot of dog beds and she only lays in that bed in the am, then uses a different bed the rest of the day and night. I like mornings with Lola best because it is about the only time she will lay still in my arms for some cuddling |
Zoe takes after her momma and hates mornings. I usually get up and leave her in bed while I fix my coffee, then I get her up wrapped in her blankie and we sit on the patio while I drink my coffee, usually at least 30 min to an hour. She will then stretch up and start licking my face, that is the clue that it is time to go out. I love mornings with her. |
Milly does not wake up until I get up. Since the day I got her (a month ago), I have never heard a peep out of her during the night or morning. I consider myself extremely lucky since she was never in a kennel until I got her:). Shelly Dawn |
How does your Yorkie wake you ? Rubin whines and licks my face. Gracie is a sleepy head and rarely gets up before me. Ginny Joy only complains if she needs to go out then she will do Barking Zoomies and pounce against the French Doors. Abba Daddy will climb up my body and licks my nose. That tickles so I get up. |
Sophie Kate stares at me and will lick my nose, if I roll over she jumps over to the otherside and continues to stare. If I wait to long she wanders down to the end of the bed and starts this routine with cat (like he is going to let her out). Sophie Kate gets up every morning at around the same time 6:00 am, it's potty time and then breakfast followed by a nap. |
Bailey jumps on my body and head until I get up. I usually get up at 5:30 for work so even on my days off he's my 5:30 alarm clock. I bring him downstairs and he goes potty, eats a little snack..gets some water and runs around with a toy. :aimeeyork |

My boys have different methods. Max often wakes me with kisses like Sophia, but sometimes, if he knows I am half awake, he sits on my face! :eek::p:D:) Teddy often paws me gently like Brody. If I stir a bit, both of the boys come running from their window seat (because they wake up before the sun) and jump all over me, kissing and pawing, until I get up. |
Sam only wakes up when we do and if thats deemed to early by him he snuggles further under the covers lol he really does love my bed i love him soooooooooo much he is my baby :hearts-xx |
First I get a sweet little tongue flick to my nose (kissy), then AprilLove plops her rear end right on up to my face... gooood morrrrrrning!!! :D |
Khloe will paw at my hand to wake me up and Couver kinda moans until I hear him. They know that 6:30 is breakfast time and it's hard to get them to sleep in later than that... Even on weekends! |

I have 3...Lillie will whine (our bed is 3 ft high..she can't get off) Sadie, can get off but chooses to lick my nose, Bentley is small so he sleeps in his crate. I hung bells on the door and he hits them when he wants to get out....which is 5 in the morning! :rolleyes: |
