Update Dolly's Well found found out she does not have a yeast infection or mites. Diagnosis: Allergic dermatitis (rule out food vs atopy) Treatment/therapy: (1) give anti-inflammatory for 3 days and then every other day for 3 days. (2) Shampoo Dermalyte Shampoo: Bath once weekly lateherleave on 10-15 min before thoroughly rinsing with cool water. (3) use dermallay oatmeal conditioner .(4)Use DUOXO Chlorhexidine 3% wipes. Wipe feet and perianal area twice daily for 2 weeks and then once daily there for bacterial infection this is where she has been licking here little butt and feet(5)Allerderm Spot on:use once a week after bathing for one month.. I had changed her food from BB to Hills ultra allergen I am to continue this for another 8 weeks if after 8 more weeks and she is still itchy. Will put her on Atopica. Glad I took her to the U of I they did a complete physical exam,however she does have luxating patellas but said when we gets a little older well put her on a bone supplement |

Finally, a fairly firm diagnosis:D! That poor baby, I hope she finally can get some relief now. She is lucky to end up with such a loving Mommy:) Praying that all those things together will work and she will be healed~! |

I've been watching to see if you posted something on your visit to the U of I. I have taken another dog there and loved everyone I dealt with. So glad you now can get her on a routine and give her some possible relief. |
Oh I forgot to mention they told me to stop giving her fish oil as it has protein in it that could be adding to the problem but said coconut oil was fine, as a matter of fact the new shampoo they had me get contains coconut oil in it |
