I could be wrong but I think I saw a picture of that last puppy on a website several months ago It was the same background and everything. This is really weird. Please make sure you check out the breeder in person. |

I am also concerned with the "photoshopping" or serious editing of the first two pics. What bugs me is the background isn't real, and I look at that with caution. Most puppy pictures, show a natural background, whether that be with in the home, or outside on a deck or on the grass. Now what you need to see is various pics of the puppies. From each side, from standing front on, and from rear pics. Both "hard stack" and free standing puppy pics. Hard stacking is when it is obvious the breeder has "placed" the puppy in a certain position. Also you should see videos of the puppies movement. If at all possible. Yorkies go through a whole lot of coat and color changes as they mature, and I for one, am not expert enough to judge from these three pictures, if any would grow up to have the standard coloration, and the preferred silk coat. I wish you the very best of luck in finding a healthy and well structured Yorkie pup |

Seems like the little pup in picture 3 has large ears compared to picture 1. Still, all 3 cute. But you have to know the breeder and the history of their breeding program, stated breeding practices, environment the dogs are whelped/raised in, health testing done, etc., to really make the wisest choice. |
Op how is the puppy search going? |
I don't think anyone is trying to be negative here. Just realistic. There is just a huge amount of breeders that are turning out Yokies by the buckets full but they are people who are out to cash in by taking advantage of the current big market for toy size dogs. The little furry ones seem to be in demand the most. Everyone is just trying to warn you in order to help ward off the terrible problems that arise many times from buying from people who are not breeding for the dog or the new owner's best interest. |
Thank you everyone for the great advice. I really do appreciate it. I am going to meet the first puppy this Sunday. And the breeder sent me unphoto shopped photo's. The puppy is on a white sheet. I'm satisfied with the breeder she has went over and beyond answering all my questions. Thanks again Crystal |

ps. I feel like a weirdo, being here without a Yorkie, but once I do have him, I'll drive everyone nutz with pictures lol |
her is a website that has some great questions to ask ther breeder.. I wish you the best of luck. 16 Questions You Should Ask the Breeder - Page 1 |
Good luck! And remember to ask plenty of questions and ask for PROOF of health testing on parents!!! A little homework and persistence will pay off in the end, can't wait until you find the perfect baby! |
good luck, and I am soooo glad you are going in person, if you can when you bring a puppy home have a full blood work panel done, it can help identify problems that just a quick puppy check will overlook, it is also nice to have a baseline blood work on you pup for future reference. |
