A new California mommy!
1 Attachment(s) Hi! My name is Tyler and my little girl is Mochi.
It was my Husband's idea to get a yorkie. He always wanted a yorkie because he said he loved that they looked like a teddy Bear :rolleyes: :p I wanted a Doxie. We where considering getting one of each, after months of research i fell in love with yorkies and decided that to go with a female yorkie.
Boy....if i knew what i was getting into lol :p
I refused to buy from a Breeder, Puppy mill, or backyard breeder. I wanted a rescue. Period. After a few months of working with several so.cal Yorkie Rescues to no avail i found someone on craigslist. Her yorkies had unintentionally had babies (this was the 4th litter and the lady thought her dog was too old to have babies anymore...:mad:) a boy and girl and failed to rehome them with friends and planned to drop them off at the nearest Animal shelter. I took the girl home and helped find a home for the Boy.
Now Mochi is healthy, Beautiful 6lb 6month old (we have had her since 14wks) and im madly in love with her. Shes so intelligent, Beautiful, Tenacious, and loving.
Mochi had her final set of shots today! (Yay!) I live in Mira Loma and in time i would love to meet some of the other Caliornia YT Mommies for play dates! (Mochi loves to Travel!) She loves our neighborhood cats but they dont exactly love her back ;) and the dogs around here are all to big for her :(.
She is very much still a puppy and anytime Mommy pulls out her phone to snap a pic she thinks its a shiny new toy :rolleyes:. so i had to sneak one tonight ;). i will also post a vid i have of her playing with one of her fav toys in a bit! I look forward to making friends with all of you and thank you for all of your wisdom! :) |
