Maxximus is going to the grromer for the first time Maxximus is going to the groomer in the next city in about 30 minutes. I'm excited to seee how he looks with no matts on his hair but am also nervous they may have to cut it. It is matts like close to skin that you can't even see looking at him. . Vet said his hair is really fine so it will matt easily. I admit I don't know what that means so I hope you guys will help me to care for his coat. Choppa was cottony, I comb and brush him, the hair was still an afro..easy. lol. But I use Choppas comb and brush on Maxxi and thought it was pretty until I rubbed him. Ahis nails are long so he slides on my tile floor I'm just excited and wish I could sit there and wait instead of leaving him bit I will just go shop for him. Pics when he's done being pampered. |
Cant wait for pictures |
She said she may have to shave him. Said he is brushed really well on TOP but not to skin. So.....I tols her to try and dematt but I unserstand if she cant to juat call me if ahe ia going to scalp my man. I aasured her ahe could do what she needs to do for him. Poor lil tink tink. |
She may be able to dematt him if she uses a slicker brush and go slow. Usually they charge more for that. If its gonna be painful for him though its better to just shave. I like to use a comb for grooming rather than a brush because you can get that hair down by the skin better. I just use a human big plastic comb but Chris Christensen has a butter comb that is good for dogs. The wooden pin brush is nice too |
She is really sweet with dogs so I know it it hurts him she will stop. I just have to be ok with making sure he is alright. And not matted. |
