sams first visit to the vets Well i took my baby to the vets for his first check up and jab today, he was quiet enjoying himself with all the attention the vet was giving him until the time came for the dreaded needle ... i can honestly say that i have never heard a dog cry so much as sam did today :( he is a real baby ...... He was weighed as well he weighs 3lbs 4ounces and is doing really well apart from a slight problem sam has a hernia and will have to be operated on as soon as he is big enough but its nothing we cant get through ;). Am so not looking forward to the next jab in 2 weeks :aimeeyork |
Aww poor baby...Watch how he reacts on your next visit. They are smart little buggers. Ahi loves her doc and assistants but as soon as we step into the exam room she start to climb up on me and do the whining thing without the sound. lol By the 3rd shot visit when they put the kong chicken paste down on the table to distract her she looked at it and tried to get out of dodge! LOL :D |
Awww poor little guy! Callie cried when she got her very first shot but hasn't cried getting one sense then. |
I hope the next visit goes a little better. Macy went to the vet yesterday for a yearly exam and she screamed bloody murder when the vet put the stethoscope on her chest to listen to her heart. Both the vet and I jumped a mile high because it scared us. She has never done that before - each vet visit is a new experience. |
poor baby it will get better hopefully. mine really dislike the vet..not the vet himself but just driving to the building they know. some things you cannot avoid. hope it goes smoother next time. |
