Pantry Raid Grooming Article In the October, 2012 issue of Cesars Way magazine is a page on grooming items from your pantry to help with fleas and to help keep your home smelling sweet. Has anyone seen this yet? One of the articles was using Listerine for fleas, making a room deodorizer using vanilla extract and vodka and cleaning up accidents using club soda and dry baking soda. Has anyone seen this yet. I thought the Listerine use was surprising. |
I have not seen it but I would be very leery using Listerine because I have seen it on the toxic list for dogs if they ingest any of it and the way it burns my mouth I would be worried it would burn there skin the same way. |

I will have to check out the article. |
Haha I thought it said panty raid too! :) |
I thought the same thing |
Ha! I thought the same thing! |
After all the comments on panty raid I had to go back to the thread and make sure I didn't type in panty raid instead of pantry raid. This article has all kinds of common household fixes for common dog problems. One I am going to try is rubbing baby powder on my hands and rubbing it into Macy's fur. You are supposed to brush your dog after rubbing it into the fur. The article also talks about different uses for baking soda, cider vinegar and peanut butter. I'm not sure people under age 30 even know what a panty raid is anymore do they? |
Where can we find this article? |
It's in the October issue of Cesars Way magazine. It's a magazine by Cesar Millan from TV's Dog Whisperer. There is also an article on Gluten in dog food. |
