We got Laddy at 9 weeks and by week 10 was totally trained to his peepads. Kyra we got at 12 weeks and she would use them only when she wanted to or if I stood beside her and watched her. We found with laddy that a puppy bell worked great for letting us know he needed to go out. With Kyra she just comes and puts her paws up on you and you know it is time.... They are all different good luck. |
We have 2 young cats, everytime I put a pee pad down they wrap themselves in it like a burrito and the Yorkie pulls them around on the floor with it. It's pretty funny to watch, but renders the pad as just a toy to all three of them. Will he ever stop throwing a fit in his crate? Any approx time frame for that? We're all on shift work in my household so someone is usually asleep at any given hour of the day. A screamng yelping whining puppy can't happen :( |

Tire him out completely before crating. Some dogs do better in a play pen |
