Petgear Treadwheel...anyone?? so I was looking at dog treadmills just for the fun of it and somehow came upon this GoPet Exercise wheel...it looks cool and the dog can go in and out of it at will and walk on it at his own speed...looks kinda like a hamster wheel, but they make one for small dogs, pricey though, but I thought for winter when mama doesn't even want to go outside in the cold and snow, could set this up..its not real big, only weight 47 pounds, 40" in diameter, they make one for cats also, and a small dog could use it...does anyone have one of these?? it has a mat on it for a firm grip.... |
Looks like the link didn't work, but I'd love to see it. My Yorkie, Heidi walks on the treadmill but its just a plain old people treadmill. I wonder what the difference is. |
the website is gopetusa.com sorry I put petgear, its gopet.....I'm thinking about it...pricey though...but nothings too much for our babies...right...:D |
Yikes! Pricey for sure. Heidi will just use my treadmill. LoL. |
I don't understand why the treadwheel is so much more than the treadmill. Seems like the treadmill is a better idea although it would need to be supervised. I can't see my Gracie going into any treadwheel on her own so that would require supervision in order to make any sense. A person can train a dog to use a human tread mill that costs about the same as what they are charging. I don't think they are going to sell a lot of those though it is a good idea for bad weather exercise. |
