My mother in law is looking for a yorkie do you guys know where she can find one she will do a shelter one or anywhere between $500

has she checked the rescues? we have members on here that do yorkie rescue. Maybe one of them isn't too far from your mom. I know ladyjane is one...not sure who the others are.

If you go to petfinder . com you can do a search for rescues and for Yorkies in your area.

If money is a problem it may not be the best time to get a dog they can cost a lot.

Well its not money i guess she doesnt wanna spend over $500 for the dog because thats how much i paid for my bentley but petfinder is a greatttttt site thanks soooo much

I got bentley from a breeder in ohio she placed an ad for him on ebay pets he was

Not everyone wants to lay out $1500.00 for a dog but there are plenty of dogs out there that need homes. Many rescues have Yorkies for around $300 to $500 depending on their age and health. Some shelters will have them also. Always consider though that you may be dealing with a dog that has had some terrible suffering in it's lifetime and may possibly have health issues. They are some very loving and grateful little darlings though.

Just remember there are always other fees included in taking on a pet. For example: my lil yorkie became ill, and I just recently spent $1,600.00 in one month on her. Between vet bills, grooming, and food, they can be costly.

Check out Yorkie Haven Rescue. They have lots of dogs who need homes. Also, you can check out your local shelters or Petfinder.com. Good luck!

No they didnt do genetic testing it the lady did let me see bentleys mother and father and i asked her alot of questions and ive never had a problem with bentley he been healthy and happy he was actually a graduation gift u git a chance to ask the lady some questions about the dogs and thought that she
Was a good breeder they came all the way from ohio to bring him to me they brought food toys and a blanket for him and told me how he did on the ride i thnk she was legit

I am not saying there is anything wrong with your pup he is a cutie but good breeders do genetic testing to make sure there pups aren't gonna be born with genetic illnesses that can cause the pups lots of suffering or the need to be put to sleep.
