Buddy belt question?? Penny is about six months now- and I want to get her a buddy belt, but I don't want to buy another one in six months. Is it too soon to get it now? Where is the best place to order it? Who is it that sells the soft cone collars? Penny is going to get fixed next moth and I want her to have one then. |
You should sent Maximo a PM. She's the best and can help with the sizing. She's great!!! |
Kristin, member Maximo, sells Buddy Belts, and her customer service is wonderful. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/member.php?u=19198273 Buddy Belt Dog Harnesses | W. Field's Dog Boutique For the soft cone collar, member Bo (Mom To Hot Rod) makes great collars that are beautifully made and much more comfortable than the hard cones. funny I just emailed that gal with the kissecollars yesterday as I want to have one on-hand when Emy gets spayed in about a month. I went to her website: The Kiss-E Collar I have a Scrappy Pet harness, I Love it cause it has a breakaway snap in the center that actually swivels with each step. Here is their website: www.scrappypets.com They are very soft and are made from recycled leather. Emy loves hers, but I need to get a size 2 now, as her size 1 is on the 2nd hole in the buckle. |
Size 2 will fit very well, I bought a size 3 later because I need it to go over his winter and rain coats. Tufty is 6 months and has been wearing his size 2 since he was 16 weeks old Teegy is 3 years old and wears a size 3 |
I would not get a buddy belt until your pup is around a year old. Here is a link to the best kinda cone to use The Kiss-E Collar |
We have a thing called Woofstock in Toronto and Buddy belt is always there with some really awesome deals. I wouldn't say wait. Just from my experience with them, the wear and tear is fanastic they are incredibly durable. The company also offers a one time replacement warranty should your dog chew through it. I hung onto the size two and was able to pass it on to a fellow yorkie pal when she got a pup and it was then returned back to me when I got my second dog, so they are highly transferable hahahaha |
