Accepting that Trixie is gone.
 
I don't know how to say this. It is very painful to finally admit it. Trixie has passed away. I loved her as the second child that I could never have. I have been crying for days. But I have to be strong for the best of my daughter, who is only 8. Thank you everyone of you, who helped me through her development. Thank you, from the button of my hart. You are all very special people.

i am so sorry your yorky passed on
 
they are like children. i lost 2 rescues this april and may knowing there health was very poor and advanced vet center could no longer keep up with there medical issues but my girls get it all to live as long as they could. i feel your pain. we rescue many animals and the pain of loss never gets easier.but when your pet was so sweet and good they made sure that you will do it all over again with another one. what a legacy they leave. take care.

I am so very sorry for your loss!

I got a bit emotional over this one...thinking about my own loss. Its never easy loosing someone who was such a big part of your every day life. It gets better, when or how long down the road is hard to say but it does. My Sheena has been gone for 14 years and I still get teary eyes when I think about her and I get a little chuckle thinking about the good times that we shared the 15 years that she was a part of our lives. :)

Thank you. I have not talked to no one in my family about this. My husband seems worried about me and my daughter, who keeps blaming herself for trixie's death. She keeps saying things like:"if I had been more lovey, if I had taken care of her better, ect. She did not have any health esues. She just passed away after a bath. I am still wonder what went wrong!!

What a tragic loss. I am so very sorry about the loss of your little girl. Trixie sounds so special. Our babies live on in our hearts always since love lasts forever.

I'm so sorry for your loss... it's very hard not knowing why.

Maybe an undiagnosed heart problem, an allergic reaction to shampoo, or a bug bite... could have been any number of things.

Sometimes God just takes them back... when it's their time to go Home to Him. She'll always be in your and your daughter's hearts.

I'm so sorry for your loss. There's no understanding, sometimes, why they suddenly have to leave us. I recently loss my sweet Bonnie during a dental procedure. There's no understanding it, just pain and a huge hole that feels like it will never be healed. Hugs to you both.

I'm so sorry....I too have felt this pain and confusion and unbelievable sense of loss.
It doesn't go away but it does get more bearable over time.

I still look at Roxy's pics and tears well up.

My heart goes out to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. It does seem at times the pain will never go away but like someone said, it does get easier to cope after awhile. RIP sweet baby Trixie.

I am so sorry you have lost your Trixie. Nothing takes the pain away, but in time, hopefully your memories of the joy you had with her will supplant the grief. My sincerest condolences...I have been there more than once myself. I do understand how it feels. Give yourself whatever time you need, but remember, there is another Yorkie out there just waiting to be loved as well...just as much as you loved Trixie. Perhaps in time you will find each other. {{{Hugs}}}
