Oh, I love that coloring with the high lights and low lights! Some people pay a lot of money to have their hair made that color. She is gorgeous. If her roots are not a different color right now then she may very well stay that color. I love it. Gracie started getting lighter in color when she was quite young. We could see her light roots kind of early. |

My bebe looked very similiar, she has a jet black body though. Here's the link to her album, she is two years old today. These pictures were from MAYBE two months ago when I trimmed up her face. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/alb...?albumid=14386 |

She has very similiar dark hair on her face, with black fur on the back of her ears. So her face looks similair to your yorkie when I don't trim it short, I also added a picture of me with Bebe with an untrimmed face. EDIT: aww thanks! |
3 Attachment(s) My first Yorkie, Jolie, stayed dark throughout her life, and she never lost her thumbprint (the stripe on the face). The last photo was when she was twelve years old, but the first couple were when she was two and three years old. Kyra is beautiful! |

I just adore her coloring. She's such a pretty girl. My Lola is the exact opposite, she's silver/blonde. I think the different colored yorkies, while not standard are so pretty just because you don't see them as often. I didn't know yorkies came in different colors before owning one. Lola looked just like every other yorkie puppy and changed as her coat grew out. |
