Rylee update We took Rylee in today and our vet squeezed her everywhere. She is in no pain whatsoever. He doesn't think it is stones but maybe crystals. He stated that if it is a stone, it's a very small one. He decided to do a X-ray of her bladder at which time he will extract urine and have it analyzed. She has to be put under for this :( and it takes 4 to 5 days to get results!!!! I'm going to be a mess........no doubt!!!! I can't stand the thought of her being put under.........but it's the only way to figure out what is going on. She looks very healthy and is acting fine so I have high hopes that it is nothing more than a stubborn UTI. I'm sitting here drinking a glass of wine while I'm posting this to calm my nerves! Keep my Rylee Belle in your prayers please!!!! I will update tomorrow. Thanks again to all of you for your support!!!! |
X-rays look good!!!!! :) Rylee had her procedure today.............the X-rays are clear!!!!! :D No stones......no tumor.......our vet thinks it is just a bacterial infection. Now we just wait for the culture results and he decides which antibiotic to go with next  She has been on three different ones so far but he thinks it will just have to be a longer dose of the same one the emergency vet gave her. I feel such relief. Tonight, I am drinking a glass of wine for a different reason! If anyone is still following this thread, ............Thanks again!!!! |
So glad x-rays came back clear! WTG Rylee!! Whew I'd be drinking wine as well!! |
Glad to hear she's doing okay! Having a culture done is the best way to go... that way your vet will know for sure which AB to use. Keeping your little one in my prayers.... |
Whew! At least some of the worse things are eliminated...now for the real cause...and a way to eliminate it. {{{Hugs}}} |
