Putting Bows in puppies hair????
 
Hi all, I was just wondering if im missing something here. Are there some kind of wonderful bows that stay in your little ones hair?? I have an 18 wk old little girl "Bella"....and I want to put some cute bows in her hair but i havent found anything that will stay......Any help will be appreciated! Thanks

I use the 3/8 inch bows in Cali's hair. I started when she was about 15 weeks old, and she would get them out pretty quick. She now leaves them in most of the day and i take it out at night. They just need to get use to them.

Your furbaby just has to get used to it. If you're using a barrette type bow, put her hair up in a non-stick elastic band first then put the barette on. Most bows already have an elastic on them though. Just keep working with her and reward her once you have it in and she leaves it alone. Soon she'll learn that everyone just LOVES how cute she is in her little bows! :)

this is kinda off topic, but bow related. My friend's mom used to breed yorkies, so she had like 3 or 4, and after everyone got a bath, she would put bows in their hair. Well, she could always tell who left her a "gift", cause their bow would be in their poop. They would eat them!

I buy little jaw clips in the hair section for little girls. I just take a section of hair and twist it and clip it. They stay in really good. It almost looks like her hair is french braided on top. So cute.

The little jaw clips are a great idea, I'll have to try that! For the life of me, I can't get Bridget to sit still long enough to get an elastic band and bow in her hair. How do you all do it? I usually just have the groomer put one in.
