2012 Bluegrass Classic Show
 
Dog Show is from Aug 30 - Sept 3 at the Kentucky Horsepark. Not being held at the campground outdoors this year, but at the indoor, climate controlled Alltech arena at the horsepark. Being about 2 miles from the campground makes it a bit inconvenient for some, but so much better with AIR CONDITIONING for the animals if the heat continues to be intense (or if it decides to rain!)

Anyone going to the show on Saturday may want to consider having a get-together before or after the Yorkies show (I will post more info once the show/ring times are posted). There are some of us that have done this for the past few years and have had a great time!!!! (Not to mention the damage we have done while SHOPPING together at the vendors :p )

It is a month away, but thought some may want to "save the date" .... so here ya go!!!!!

You bet!!! Seymour is doing very well and with the exception of less hair on his leg, you wouldn't know he has been thru surgery. Looking forward to seeing you two again!

West Central IN. It's an easy 3 hour drive. Love going to KY. It's one of my favorite places.

Yes, it is at the Kentucky Horsepark....... I will post more details as soon as the judging program is out.

Saturday- Sept 1st show info
 
They finally posted the info on the show for Saturday!!!

The Yorkies will be showing in ring 10 at 10:40 AM.

After watching the Yorkies show and doing some "browsing & shopping" at the vendors, we can meet back at my campsite for some lunch (weather permitting). If the weather don't cooperate, we can just get our lunch at the show (this year it is at the indoor arena).

Let me know via a PM (message) if you are going to make it!!! Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.... and any new YT'ers that maybe in interesting in meeting with us!

We can meet at the dog show (remember it is AT the horsepark.... not the campground this year) OR if you are early, you can meet me at the campground first (weather permitting). I am planning on a get together for some food/social time afterwards for those that would like to come back with me to the campground. If the weather don't cooperate with us, we can eat at the arena....... looking forward to seeing those that can make it!!! PM me if you need my phone #, campsite # or anymore info!!!!

Also, when you say the Horsepark, do you mean go in the main entrance?

The show is at the main entrance..... i think it depends if "Isaac" makes it to Kentucky on Saturday.... if it is raining, it will probably be much better to meet at the show & hang out there (there are LOTS of venders this year and also food consessions .. including FUDGE!!)..... but if it is going to be decent and the rain will stay away, i am hoping to meet at the campsite and have lunch there. I think we will have to play it by ear..... I will call ya!

Went to the show on Thurs & Fri......... seen some wonderful Yorkies!!! Did my shopping early! ;) Found lots of good buys including some adorable bows for $1!!! YAY! Shelby, Seymour & Seeger are so spoiled when it comes to getting new items (mostly grooming stuff). Some of the products smell so good and are ALL natural!!!

Seymour had a Physical therapy session here on Thursday (Lp surgery & torn ACL in june). His "therapist" came to the campground and he really enjoyed it. He is progressing so well and you would never know he had surgery with the exception of his hair being a little shorter on his left hind leg. he is such a sweet little guy!

Looking forward to seeing some of my Yorkie friends today (including some YT'ers.... Can't wait to see y'all!!! ;)

I found the $1 bows - great deal!
Already looking forward to next year.
Did you hear that the Louisville show in March will not be at the Fairgrounds, but at the adjacent Crowne Plaza Hotel - they feel it will be much nicer!
I like the idea of planning a meet up together.

Definitely!! It is always great seeing you!! ..... glad you took advantage of the "bow deal"!!! I also LOVED the white outfit that you got.... gorgeous!!!! As soon as we get an official date in March, I will put it on my calendar!
