New to Site! :) Hi, my name is Tam. I just bought a teacup Yorkie two weeks ago today, and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! :) Her name is Daisy Mae and she is just shy of 12 weeks old - she has almost doubled in size since I bought her! My Profile photo shows her LAST Saturday, her Daddy is a Party Yorkie and her Momma is a Silky-Terrier-looking Yorkie. Looking for advice on potty training, how to make her stop snapping at my other Baby Girl (an 8 lb. Toy Poodle), and what is best to feed her since I want her to have the BEST! Looking foward to chatting with everyone! :aimeeyork Tam |

Welcome to you and Daisy! |
Welcome to YT! Just a little bit of info you will probably hear alot here ....there is no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie. A yorkie is a yorkie no matter what the size :). For training it takes a lot of patience just hang in there and give her lots of love I am sure you will be fine.:yorkietal The snapping at your other dog is the puppy in her, your other dog will soon enough put her in her place lol. |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk!! |
welcome to yorkie talk, cant wait to see your little baby. alot of people use royal canin for yorkies, I personally like solid gold wee bits, halo and fromm, there are other good foods im sure someone will give you more information than i did lol. the one thing that they need alot of patience with is potty training other than that they are very smart little dogs. as for the snapping just the puppy in her and she still has to get used to your poodle. My yorkie he is 1 yr 2 months and he still nips my heels when i put him down kinda like a shepard herding, he don't break the skin he even does his chihuahua friend like that. I think its just the yorkies nature going after heels lol.. good luck with your little one! |
