Diapers for urinary incontinence
 
I need some product ideas for my little yorkie girl who has a congential birth defect. I use the diapers made by 4 paws (XXSM) with a pad that I cut and placeas a liner inside the diaper that is used for human incontinence. I change her about every four hrs or as needed. She does have control and holds it for several hours she just cant stand to eliminate so the diaper always leaks. Any ideas?

Maybe little girl doggie panties would hold the diaper closer and help keep the leaks in.

What about disposible doggie diapers...I use those, (CleanGoPet, super absorbent Disposable Doggie Diapers, from Pet Edge) I put those on my little senior lady, and then I just put her a pair of her adorable little lace ruffled panties on, so she feels special, over the diaper. These diapers have a no leak fit, and they are really absorbent.

Thanks. I have tried disposal but they are too big. She weighs 2.5 lbs.

If you sew,could you make her a wrap diaper,with elastic around the legs and velcro closures? Human baby diapers are made like this and then you could still put a panty liner in it.

I have some for my tiny little girl who doesnt weigh quite 2 lbs and they work....MINI size...smaller than XX-small.

You can also xxs premie diapers off the internet and put a tiny slit where the tail goes. These diapers are very tiny. There the ones they use on one pound premie babies. Good luck. :animal-pa

I have looked for premmie diapers in the past. I have never found any that tiny. Time to look again. DO you have any idea what stores sell those tiny ones?

Yes...PetEdge.com....they have the best prices I have found anywhere...MINI size....they are tiny!!! I stumbled on these when I was looking for those tiny preemie diapers and could not find them anywhere!
