New to this website Hi there....We lost our precious Gracee in April 2012 due to a tragic happening at the groomer. We have been devastated at her loss. We are looking for a new puppie. I am not interested in spending a ton of money as we want a pet for our family not interested in breeding at all. We miss her sooo much and we are ready to start looking again. Please let me know if you have any ideas. |
Welcome to YT! I am so sorry for your loss:unlove: I know that horrible feeling all too well, as do many here:( Please be very careful in searching for your new puppy. A lot of the time, getting a "cheap" puppy from backyard breeder will end up costing you thousands in vet bills, and perhaps even the dog's life. A good place to start is at Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. There is a breeder referral section, and it lists, by state, reputable breeders. There is also a "for sale" section here, and also a "Rescue and New Homes Needed" section. Good luck in your search! I know it helped my family very much to get a new pup after we lost our Starr. Our hearts were so very heavy, and our new kiddos definitely helped. |
Welcome to YT. Sorry for your tragic loss. I hope you find the perfect Yorkie for your family. |

Welcome! I am so very sorry for your loss. If your not wanting to spend a lot of money you might want to look into adopting a yorkie from a shelter. |
Can't help you with your search but you will know when it's the right dog. I'm so very sorry for your loss. |
Welcome to YT. I am very sorry for your tragic loss. With a lot of research and patience, you can find reputable breeders who have dogs 1 -2 years of age for a price much lower than the average Yorkie pup. Often these dogs were held back as show potentials. |
Hi there and welcome, I'm sorry for your loss. |

So sorry for your tragic loss. Welcome to yt |
"you might want to look into adopting a yorkie from a shelter." I agree; if I decided that when the time comes, many years from now, I will search out a rescue Yorkie to give a home to. I've never heard any regrets from people who've done so! |
