Ellington is older than we thought 1 Attachment(s) I took my rescue Ellington to get microchipped and it turned out he already had one. Luckily they believed me, and agreed to change the details. A few days later they called me, and said they thought I would be interested to know more about his age. I had been told he was five. He is about 10-12, or even older! We had been joking he was an old man, but it turns out to be true! |
I guess whoever was registered on the microchip, wern't looking for him and didnt want him? |
No, I suppose the story I was told that the owner had died was true. |
Oh....how sad....I am so happy Ellington has found a safe and happy, loving home with you....his owner would have certainly wanted no less for him. What a wonderful name, Ellington!!! Bold and strong and irrepressable!!! |
aw thank you! I'm now debating getting him castrated....despite his age. |
No matter his age, Ellington is a very regal handsome gentleman for sure. I'm glad he has you now to love him. |
Did you get him from a rescue or the family? That is quite a difference in his age! |
yes i agree he is a very handsome man!! |
Ellington He is so lucky to have you. I took a 15 year old from a friend who passed away. She gave us lots of love for the next two years. |

So, either they just guessed and never knew how old he was. Or lady 1 or lady 2 has lied to try and get him a new home. |
Wow, that definitely is a difference in age. He sure is handsome though! |
