I am so ready for summer to end! It has been so hot here and my little furbutts just don't handle the heat very well. I am ready for sweater wearing, long walking, flea free cool weather!!

I'm sorry. :( I know, I heard about the heat there. My dad and brothers are there. My brother said he took his dog for a walk at 11 at night, and by the time he got home he was drenched in sweat. It must be uncomfortable. I will say a prayer for cooler weather for you guys over there.

The humidity has been unreal. Those of us that live in the south are accustomed to heat and humidity but my gosh, this has been HORRIBLE. I am sure my little one's will be happy when they get to go for regular walks again.

I hope you guys have air conditioning? or a pool? My dad and brothers have been there a couple months. It is so weird because my dad is a truck driver and just out of nowhere decided to post up there. LOL I have no idea why and it was all of a sudden. He's considering buying a house there. I asked him if he had a girlfriend there or something and he said no. It started with just my dad and now my brothers are there too. Well one is on a bus coming back now. I'll have to find out what city they are in and see if it's close to you.

Yes, we have air conditioning. lol! I am just north of Mobile but lived in Birmingham for several years.

It's been awful hot in the north, too. One of my kids wants me to move to Louisiana with her and I told her no way. I would be trapped inside too much of the time because of the heat. I would much rather be able to put on a sweater when I'm cold than to chained to the AC all the time. Gracie, who gets cold very easily, has even been bothered with the very hot temperatures. There have been a few days that I could not take her out at all.

I'm right there with you. We were at 107 yesterday and today I think may be 103-105. the girl's are only allowed outside for 10 minutes at a time, if they didn't get done what needed to be done there are potty pad's. LOL

We are out of the 100's+ but the humidity is killing us. You can walk out the front door and start sweating so bad your clothes stick to you. Grrrr. I literally cannot wait for fall. I hope that we actually have a real winter this year, too. Last year winter skipped over us. It was such a warm winter. Yuck.

I hope y'all stay as cool as you can. :)

Is it dry heat or humidity too in Texas?

I would surely die there:eek: I was at the park with the kids the other day and it was about 65 degrees and I think I had a heat stroke:eek::eek:

It can go both way's here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Right now we have a lot of humidity with this heat. We have rain all around us, but it's not getting to us, so we get the humidity.
