House Training Ok I have my Little Callie house broken now.. But I'm wondering if my little guy I'm getting will be harder to potty train then a girl. She will go to her puppy pad or scratch and cry at the door to go outside which she does most the time. I didn't know if he will be easier to train since I have her to help "show" him where to go and everything. Any advice would be great :) |
In my experience they learn faster if they see another dog doing it but your girl unless rock soild in her house training may back step in her's. |
Well she is over a year old the only accidents she has is when she gets really excited.. But she still has a few |
I'm currently potty training two girls at once and its rough jersey was doing great by herself but now with kiwi in the mix she's stepped back a bit :/ so it does get hard at times but in time I'm sure it will all be over with. :) wish you luck! |
Make sure that any old accidents are totally odor free so they don't attract the new puppy. With constant attention he should do fine. A puppy is going to have accidents but it is the human that can prevent most of them. I know it is a full time job to house break them but time well spent once the job is done. |
