Reasons I Love YT....Lets Hear Yours :)
 

My list is very long lol. When I first found YT I was a very new yorkie owner and had so many questions about my little guy and his health plus his breeders. I was so thankful for all the kind wonderful people who welcomed me and got me through those first stages of his life. Since then there have been many times because of illness and loss that they have been there for me. We were so fortunate to of found our little Lolita through YT's Rescue section and to get to spend 2 years of her life with her and also so fortunate to have all of your support when she passed away. I find a wealth of information from very informative people who have bred and shown yorkies for many years along with those who work for rescues andI will never be able to thank them enough. I have had pets my entire life and loved and cared for them all but yorkies are a whole new breed for me. So different from all the others I have had.
I come here to admire all the beautiful babies I see on YT. To read you stories and compare them to my own adventures with my babies. I read in amazement as a breeder helps a new person get through all the stages of "accidental" pregnancies and helping the new owner get those little ones on a road to healthy lives. I so admire their patience when I know they must be pulling their hair out at times. I have known show breeders and I know what a busy life they lead and how much of a sacrifice it is for them to take the time to help those on here that need it.
I come here most of all because most of the people I have met here are wonderful animal lovers and we all truly do care about our little ones.
Ok that is a small part of my list. Hope I didn't bore you to tears lol. Lets hear your reasons.

My reasons?

I have learned a lot about dogs.. yorkies

I have made friends

I now have a support group.. place to talk about lots of stuff not just yorkies

I love shopping (a little too much lol) with the vendors. Remy's closet is full of clothes, beds and such from YT vendors.

I love looking at yorkie pictures

I love hearing stories about yorkies

I love the support
The fact that members are eager to help
That they tell you not what you want to hear but what you need to hear
I love that any issue you come across, someone here has gone through it
The fact that YT never forgets so if you are a bad breeder, YT WILL SMYTE THEE!
I love that members try and find homes for babies they have never met. This is love
And even when I see members get ticked with each other, the love and care of fur babies is still priority one.

I found YT while searching for breeders right after our Starr passed away, hubby wanted another pup right away:rolleyes: The thing that made me fall in love with YT was how everyone here "gets it". I was devastated with Starr's death and a lot of people in my life were telling me that while it was sad that she died, that she was "just a dog":eek: Everyone here was so supportive and understanding when I needed that the most. The girls I have now are living a high quality life thanks to the things I've learned here. I know more about keeping them safe and healthy than I did when I had Starr (she was my first dog of my own, we waited until we owned our home to start looking for a dog). I knew so little back then, and if I'd had YT, Starr would likely still be with us.

This is the most amazingly knowledgeable collection of Yorkie lovers EVER:)

i love love love talking about Ziggy, here inever have to think "ok enough talking about your baby now"
