Buddy Belt I was thinking about buying a buddy belt for my Banjo! He is 9 weeks old and I was wondering if a size one would be to big? I know they are some that has used them, also wondering what you think about them or do you have any other suggestions? |

Full disclosure: I am a retailer of Buddy Belts. At 9 weeks, I agree with Nancy, wait....at least a little while. They grow sooo fast. Size depends on chest measurement and weight. Moving up 1 size the first year is worth it to me. Honestly, if I could go back to when Max was a puppy, I would have bought the Buddy Belt when we started walking. He would have required 2 his first year. I would buy the Classic colors, the least expensive. I paid $25.00 or more for a mesh harness at Petco that ended up putting pressure on his neck. The Classic Color BB Size 1 -2 are $35.90 - $39.90. You could re-sell it when your pup outgrows it. Hope that makes sense. I would wait until about 4 months of age. |
I would wait until he is full grown before buying a buddy belt. I would also be very careful if you are taking him for walks and stuff before he has all of his shots. |
Thanks, I do think I am going to wait on the buddy belt, I did look at the puppia harnesses! I have started walking him just a little in the evening, but I live way out in the country on a private driveway... not around any other dogs. Do you still think it is a little early, he has has some shots but not all. |
i just got bruno his buddy belt..he is three lbs...i got a size 2..i think its worth it..next week he will have all his hots and i cant wait to start to walk him around the neighborhood...he is already use to me walking him on a leash around the driveway...wait untill he is 12 weeks.. |
