It has been exactly one year since you walked into our lives Mikki. You have been such a sweet blessing to us. I am so glad I found you that day at the gas station. You are now a part of our family and we can't imagine life without you. You have changed so much and filled our house with love. Happy Gotcha Day Sweet Baby Girl!!!!! We love you very much!

Yes!! Lots will remember! Mikki became the YT members dog that day. :D:D So many were there to support me and encourage me on what to do. I love to go back and read the thread. It was quite a day!!

Happy Gotcha Day Mikki...I remember when momma was so torn on whether to wait for daddy to get home the day she got you....we all told her to go grab you. Aren't you glad she did:) I know you momma and daddy feel the same way.

Aww, it really is an amazing story, especially since you had been wanting to rescue and it didn't work out. This to me just proves that everything happens in its own divine time:) (its giving me patience for my little girl)

I'm so glad she found you and that her and Rosie are friends now

p.s. I love when you say: " Better to ask forgiveness than permission!! ;) " :yelrotflm this is kind of how I got Ziggy!

It was a heart racing day! I thought DH was going to flip. :eek: but believe it or not, he LOVES her. She is daddy's girl. :D. I had given up on getting one. I was so discouraged and along came Mikki. :). She was meant to be ours. So just know that if you are wanting a girl the right one is out there waiting on you. ;)

Happy gotcha day Mikki!!!!!! I am so glad mama Rhonda took action and gave you an AMAZING life in a home that loves you!! I love that thread. I read it when I first joined YT and it made me cry! What an awesome tuing to be able to look back on how it all started, one year ago today.

Thanks everyone! We are really glad she is ours now. :). And we are hoping for many more gotcha days with her.
