Nikki has a new best friend! 4 Attachment(s) My brother, his GF and her son came over today. They had been in the Philippines for the past 3 weeks. Kyle can be quite a handful and I have to watch him like a hawk around my gang. But today Nikki took a liking to him and he laid in Kyle's arms for hours. It was so sweet to see Nikki so content. He seems to be feeling better. Kyle wanted to take him home so I "gave" Nikki to him but told him he had to stay here but he could visit him whenever he wanted. Pixie wasn't quite as happy and my other 2 hid from him the whole time. |
Kyle may be a handful, but he also looks so sweet, especially with your beautiful babies. Those photos are really special. |

Thanks. It makes me wonder if Nikki had a young child sometime in his past life. Connie mentioned it when I told her about Nikki and Kyle. He loves the neighbor girl that comes over too. My others not so much! Kyle wanted to ride in my car over to my house from my sisters and he said to me "I was really sad to hear Ken died. Were you sad" I told him that I was. He said "Did you cry" I said yes. He said I didn't cry but I was really sad. He is 7 years old. He use to come over and play slot cars with Ken and my brother when Ken first got sick. I thought that was so sweet. |

Thanks for sharing this story and sweet photos. I have therapy dogs as you know. It is amazing and such a blessing when a human and doggy connect. Some Yorkies love none, some love a few, some love just one, some love every one. The Yorkie who loves a human that needs to be loved, is the most special dog of all. |

Kyl's conversation with you Patti made me tear up a little, he sounds like he is trying to understand and wants to make sure you know he will miss Ken. Kids and Dogs, two of my weak spots and just from the pictures of Nikki with Kyle I would consider them BFF's. Maybe they offered each other a little comfort which both may need right now.
