Luma is a big girl now!
 

Eek, I'm spool proud! I just had to gush!

Luma, Tony and I had been out of town for a couple weeks, and finally got in yesterday...only to find I had left my wallet back in my bfs hometown...ugh. we decided we'd head back without Luma this time. It was sort of a test. She has been getting free roam of our bedroom for very short periods..like when we go grocery shopping. But we never left her alone all night, with free roam. We lumaproofed the room, set up a gate, turned the tv to animal planet,pulled up the blinds (she LOVES watching outside) and our roomie agreed to check up on her through the night and next morning.

Well we finally just got home, and our baby was sleeping in her crate, which we left open, and she even peed and pooped on her pad!!! What a good girl! I'm just overjoyed that our training with her is paying off!!! She didnt chew up anything either! Oh, and the cutest part was that she dragged out all her toys and slept with them in her crate lol!! She was soo happy to see us. And we, her.

I still hate leaving her behind, and we rarely do it, but its so nice to know now that she can handle it. She is such a good girl. I had this huge moment of just...pride being her mama. I might've even shed a tear or two...:rolleyes: I love her so very much!!

Mama has done a good job raising her right! She is growing up and becoming responsible as every proper little Yorkie does.

Thanks everyone :D It was so tough leaving her but the trip is so much less of a hassle without her. It was awful, we were exhausted, then had to sleep on the floor of his friend's, and I was ready to cry because i missed Luma, and our roommate sent me that pic. It was perfect.

Also, she finally just got a bath, yay!!! First one since she was spayed! She loves to be groomed. I sat her in front of the window so she can look outside, and she was sunbathing, and licking me while I brush her...that's the life!! My little girl is so pretty!! Thank you all for the compliments, she captures the heart of anyone who spends 5 seconds with her. I'm very lucky she's mine!! I love her so much. :)

Aww! Such a good girl! Luma must have one of the comfiest crates around! Look at all of those fluffy things!

How old is Luma? I feel like I've done a good job training my pup but I'm still nervous to give her more free-reign outside the kitchen when we go out for longer periods.

She turned 6 months old yesterday. She likes her crate, but she has the choice to sleep in there or in bed with us. She usually chooses us :p She is doing great...no accidents, no behavior problems. We will be moving apartments at the end of this month and she'll be restricted to the bedroom again until she is comfortable in our new, bigger, fancier place.

We're teaching her a new trick right now...to put her toys in the toy basket. She loves doing it so much that she learned if she drags them aaall out, I'll ask her to put them away, and she'll get a treat LOL
