Moms of "tiny' yorkies..... I'm trying to find a few moms of tiny yorkies....Lil Bit is 4 months old now and weighed 2 pounds yesterday..... I want to find a few moms with pups about the same age / size. trying to work through some feeding issues and also help me decide if I should leave her with my husband while I go "OFF" for a few days (actually, a week, but don't tell my hubby) or should I just let the Vet kennel her. I know of a few who have PM'd with me..any one else???? |
I have a 15 month old yorkie who weighs 2lbīs and she needs no special treatment at all:)..she is treated in the same way as we treat our 8 and a half lb yorkie.I think your baby will be fine with your husband, infact,Id rather leave my baby at home with my husband than take her to a kennel where everything is strange to her;) We had feeding issues with Lady too, infact, she was VERY VERY picky at the age of 4months..we just couldent find a food that she would eat and stick to.I leave food out 24/7 now and I have learned that they dont starve them selfs,so one day we decided NOT to switch foods any more and make her stick to one brand. We chose eukanuba and although at first she wasnt sure, she finaly realised that she wasnt getting anything else and started eating;) She has never had problems since:) Your baby will actually be a good weight as an adult,so dont worry about her being tiny, she sounds like she will be a good size to me:) Im sure she will be fine:) |
