New morkie puppy
 

Came across this site when I heard someone else on here sharing that they had gotten a morkie and just joined the site. You all seemed very nice and welcoming so thought I would pop by too. His name is Kirby,and he is about 14 weeks old now.

Thanks guys for everyone loving his name so much. I get some unsatisfied responses, but I wanted something a bit different. I am looking foward to getting lots of advice for him, so I can make sure I am on top of my game when it comes to looking after him properly! Heres a pic! Sorry his fur is a bit matted we were playing outside and he got a couple burs stuck to him, luckily he had appointment at the groomers.

Thanks guys for liking the name. i sometimes get weird responses when I tell people his name, maybe they are thinking of that pink cloud video game character that also has the same name. But I just like it to me its cute and unique.
I am just curious how do you guys get your avatar picture bigger, as I have noticed some of yours are bigger then mine. i have tried cropping it but seems to do no good. Anyways from what I can see in the avatar your yorkie's are all beautiful truly!

Kirby is a doll, please don't let the groomer change him to much, he looks so cute the way he was. My last male was named Kirby, after all they are cute little vacuum cleaners, if I got a second I always said I would name him Hoover.

On the posting thing, I really wish they would explain this better to newbies. But until you have a certain amount of posts they hold some of your posts from being seen. So you might type a post and then it will not show up right away, but then 10 hours later it will show up right in the place you typed it. This is very annoying when you are trying to answer someones questions. It is especially bad in the sick and injured section when the newbie is trying to deal with a health scare. I love YT but this is something they do that seems to hinder new members more than it does save us from trolls and trouble makers, but hey what do I know it's not my forum, so I don't make the rules:D Welcome to Yorkie Talk and once you get over this temporary hurdle, you will love it.

Ohh those groomers:mad:, don't even let me get started. I would never be so angry or frustrated with the groomers at out local petsmart if the case were they were extremely friendly, and just did not do their job right. But they are miserable, cranky know-it-alls , who don't do the job right, first and onlytime just because I got a coupon.First of all to his kirby's horror i do brush him every day with a licking brush (as gentle as i can be) we were sort ofplaying innthe brush beforehand but he got a bur in his coat, i tried getting it outand did, but figured hey i am bringing him to the groomers anyways to get brushed and washed. Now I don't knowif it's because I looked kinda like a paris hilton that day, with my flashy clothes on, hair and makeup all did, andthese girls all in their 20's like me were in their scrubs, thought I was just a ditz that didn't know a thing about how to look after a dog (funny thing is a just graduated to be a vet assistant) were very rude,asked if he had his shots (rude) when i said he had they looked at me as if they didn't beleive me. Just very rude, iwon't be going back there.
