Hi! We are back. I missed yorkietalk sooo much! I hope to be back for good. the last 6 months have been crazy. the day i moved (January 1st) our temporary foster dog had 4 surprise puppies. they kept me pretty busy (2 of them still do) sadly only 3 of them made it past the first 3 days. when i moved i had no internet. then just as i got internet back my computer got a horrible virus and could not be used, the poor thing had to be reset to factory settings then the keyboard went out and my screen busted. so after buying a new computer. i thought i was ready to jump back on line however sadly my great grandmother passed away (96 is a good age to go) so there was just so much to keep me busy i just collapsed into bed every night dead to the world. my puppies grew up. one of them stayed with me. one is moving to California (he is currently still with me) to be with my best friend. and one is being happily spoiled by a coworker and his retired wife. Some of you may remember that i have custody of my brother and sister. well my sister turned 18 and decided to move in with her boyfriend this was heartbreaking for me but there is nothing i can do. i know this was the wrong choice because her boyfriend is a bad type of person i just have to step back and let her be responsible for her own life. my brother is now 12 (OMG when did he get so big) and i got to celebrate my 23rd birthday with a lapful of 4 week old puppies at the end of January. gatsby is the same energetic loving Yorkie he has always been. however his little sister seems to have mellowed him out. Jet is a ball of black energy it seems just takes up what Gatsby no longer uses and spends it all by running circles around my poor cat. the only thing we know for sure about jet is that her mom was a chihuahua. in the same house was a unfixed male Yorkie and a unfixed male westie. i think she looks more like a westie however she is solid black. she has long wirey hair. ill post pictures when i figure out how to send them from my fancy smartphone to my computer. ummm okay i think you are caught up. so whats going on with all of you? catch me up. |
:wavey:Hi and welcome back! First of all i'm sorry for your loss. I also lost mine when she was about that age. It doesn't feel as bad because they got to live a long wonderful life. But it's still sad and heartbreaking none the less. And I applaud you in trying your best to raise your little sister and brother. Yes you are wise beyond your years....you just have to set them free. It helps that you are so open about it. It will keep your relationship with her open and hopefully it might make you closer. Happy belated birthday! Wow I remember 23. hehe :bigbdaypa And wow you have a busy puppy household! lol But it sounds so lively and fun. ;) My little Ahi is now a year old but she is still little. 3lbs. 14oz. lol She gets spayed next week. yikes ! :confuse2: Can't wait to see pics of your furry clan. :D |
Welelcome back, Lisa. It sounds like you have had a very hetic six months. Gee whiz, a move, puppies, a birthday (Happy belated birthday :D)the computer virus and the sad sad loss of your Grandmother and then the tragic issue with your little sister. Hopefully in time she will come to her senses and realize that Big Sis REALLY does know best! It is so good to see you - I sincerely hope that your life settles down a bit. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. |
