just wanted to share my love for my baby i just dont think people who dont own yorkies quite understand... i just LOVE my little man. he brings me so much happiness. he is soooo funny. i love when he "talks" to me, i love when he sleeps in my lap or at my feet. hes so silly when hes running.. he will run as fast as he can and then plop down and bury his head in the grass. when i throw a toy he.doesnt run to it, he hops..this morning on our walk he picked up a mouthful of cut dead grass and took off running with it, and it was flying out of his mouth as he ran... he is just TOO silly... i LOVE my yorkie baby!!! :) just thought i would let you all know!! |
We all know how you feel. Brandi has brought so much joy in my life as well. |
People don't understand! There are many breeds that bond closely to their humans. I think this is particularly true for our yorkie babies. You can feel their love for you and you love them back! Everybody loves to be loved!!! Enjoy your baby.:) |

I agree....they are so flippin' cute. I've seen the hop, my boy does it too. He does superman jumps off of things (we are careful, placing pillows down where he loves to jump) We havent had him out at parks til after boosters are complete, but here in the house he is funny fetching. He tries to get more than one toy in his mouth, he cracks us up. This morning he had two wee tennis balls he was trying to cart, he couldn't do it, he held one in his mouth and then he kicked the other in front of him and brought both to us...my husband was thrilled as he was a football (soccer) player in Germany and England growing up. :D I imagine all dog lovers, love their breed...but I venture to say Yorkies have to be the cutest!!!;) |
oh I love Remy too!! She is so cute it just hurts sometimes! I have other dogs and I love them too...each has his/her special place in my heart. |
Teegy follows me everywhere I wish he would chill cos he whines when I'm cooking as I'm not paying attention to him. Last night I gave him a meaty bone to chew on and he'd rather sit and watch me, Tufty was too busy mowwing down on his bone to care what I was doing hahahaha. |
I have had many dogs in my adult years. Right now we have 6 toy dogs, between the ages of 10 years and a little almost 5 months. The 5 month old is Zachary, my first Yorkie baby. Each of my dogs is different. I love them all but some hold an extra special place in my heart. Zachary is so different than any other dog I have ever had. He has already worked his way to #1 in my heart (although the others would never know it). Louise |
Gatsby is the first dog I ever bonded with like this. As a child we raised shelties and to me they were just dogs but Gatsby is my baby. I completly get where you are comeing from. |
I think we all know exactly where you are coming from and we understand like no other can. That's why we are addicts on YT. LOL :D Our babies are our world or a huge part of it. I can honestly say besides my hubby and kids, my little Ahi completes me..completes my family. ;) |
ahhhh such a nice post, I can just picture your little guy so full of life. I know exactly how you feel Lola is an never ending source of amusement for my DH and I. Last night we floated on rafts on the lake, Lola had her own raft and kept dropping her toy off it, then would jump in to get it, then need our help to get back up. We brought one of the rafts on the deck to fix the head rest. It was propped up in a way that the opening where you feet goes was leaning sideways. Well that was a source of play for Lola, she started hoping in and out of the hole with her toy, she would drop it on the opposite side of the hole where she was, then jump out and get it and jump back through it and then do it again and again. My husband said look at her, she is so silly. Basically our night last night revolved around Lola's antics and we loved every min. of it, so yes I totally understand where you are coming from. |
I mean, ive had dogs before.. Labs, chows, dachsunds. And of course i loved them all... But they have all been my dogs. bentley is just different. He is my BABY... I have never had one like him.... And i know what you mean about the superman jumps... My bentley does that too!!!! |
I know exactly what you mean. I have had numerous pets, especially dogs, but Puddles is so special. Buttons, a shih-tzu, and I had a special bond many, many moons ago. Cheyanne, a rescue Aussie, was only with me for a month before leaving me with 7 babies that were 13 days old when she passed. I raised them all as my own and I still have Annabelle. She is 12 1/2 years old and I love her dearly but the bond I have with Puddles is so different. Even though I have only had her for 6 weeks and 5 days, I cannot imagine life without her. |
Thanks for sharing. I think I relate, too. I find Tatiana charming in every way as well. |
Pitty I truly feel sorry for people who don't know this kind of love. How can any life be complete without it ? |
aww, i think most everyone on this site can relate. I always tell Ziggy "I love you beyond!" there are just no words to describe. I have had many dogs and have a 6 year old rescue i love dearly! he is my best friend, but Ziggy is my baby, and I dont see how it could work any other way :) |
