I am so very sorry for your deep loss, Patti. A love like you and Ken shared transcends all barriers. I know you can't imagine your life without him, but it is my hope that you are comforted by all of the warm and loving thoughts from others and that they give you strength.

Patti I'm sooo very sorry for the loss of your beloved Ken. Know that Ken is now in Gods loving embrace and free from pain and suffering. I hope this thought will bring you some degree of peace and comfort. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. (HUGGZZZ)

Thank you all so very much for all the kind words of support and prayers. I am so lost without my Ken. There is so much to think about and all I want to do is lay down and cry.
Your continued support throughout this has been a tremendous help. Any time I was having a bad day I could come on here and be comforted by your support. Thank you for keeping the thread going. The Social Worker asked if I had a good support system and I said I have family and a couple good friends in the area and I belong to a Yorkie Forum that has given me so much support. I don't think people can understand how an online forum can be so caring and great.
To Connie my rock through all of this, who talked me through the night, I love you and can never thank you enough for all the support. I'm surprised you haven't changed your number yet. lol Hugs to you all and my heartfelt thanks.

I pray for god to provide the comfort and strength you will surely need the next few days and months. You certainly have a guardian angel watching over you now.

The next few days will be difficult for sure..but after all the arrangements are said and done...if you wanna lay down and cry...you do that. It's understandable.
So glad this forum has provided you some comfort and glad Connie has been such a great friend. We all need Connie's in our lives.

Patti, I am so sorry to hear that your husband passed away. I never really said much but I followed along with your entire thread and even used some of the suggestions given to you during my mom's battle.

You are such an inspiration to me for all you did for him and my heart sank when I read that he had passed away.

I have seen my dad go through the grief of losing a spouse when my mom passed away this year and my heart is breaking for you right now.

I send my sincere condolences to you and your family and may your husband rest in peace.

Thanks so much. My daughter and I went to the Funeral Home last night to make arrangements and I kind of zoned out and left a lot of the decisions up to her. Right now I have to put me first and regroup. All I feel like doing is laying in bed with my furbabies so that's what I am going to do. The service isn't until Friday so when my sister gets back in town tomorrow she can help me pull together the rest of the things. I don't know if I mentioned we donated Ken's eyes to the eye bank. They approached me right after he passed and I felt if we could help someone else why not.
