Hi all well it´s getting hot out and time for a shave for my Lilly, now i´m thinking is there more than ONE way of shaving her down ???:confused:

Just the body tho .. :rolleyes: if you have some pics of your summer cuts to give me some idea i´d be weary grateful :D

no Lilly has short legs so she will look like a mope lol

Last summer was Gracie's first summer and I kept her coat long because she gets cold so easily. We have a fairly short summer. This year I just had the groomer cut her length to just below her belly and layer her legs up to blend it in. I think she looks adorable and it is easier to comb her out. We have AC when it gets really warm and she does not like it at all. She needs her fur!;)

Jada has a short cobby body and short legs and I keep her body shaved year round and my son calls her legs bell bottoms:D I think her short little legs pull off this look really well:)

We put KS in a modified schnauzer for summer, short on the body and left length on the legs.

LOL, as you can see...Michelle and I are hooked on Jada & Zhoie being in the shaved cuts:D With cotton coats, it simply can't be beat. Actually Zhoie is not a tall as she looks...it's the shaved body that makes her legs look much longer I think. She is 9 inches tall...or maybe that is tall:rolleyes:.

Also, once in awhile, I will put a long length comb attachment on my trimmer and run it down Zhoie's legs, just to thin them down some when they get to full. But I love the shaved body look on cottons. It's really all in what you like.

Tena..you know you were our inspiration for Jada and Bogie's hairstyle!! LOL..Zhoie is a long legged super model next to short stuff Jada...she is 8" tall and her legs are about 4".
