Chloe was shut in the pantry! For only about 5-10 minutes-so dont worry(she was quite content too). We could hear her crying when I called her name looking for her and I kept checking all the rooms. Finally I checked the pantry and there she was, trying to help herself to the trash!!  I always think of her as my precious little diva, but I guess I forget she still has animal instincts :D :D . I personally think the food in her dog bowl looks better than the trash but maybe thats just me. Chloe's so silly! |
That is soo funny! I bet she looked cute in the cabinet! :D |
Hahahah!!!! Sooo funny!!!! I too have done that to Luigi! It was only for about 15-20 seconds though! I put my swiffer away and shut it like I normally do. Then walked away and then Luigi started scratching and barking at the door!!! I didn't relize he snuck in there!!!! I was laughing soo hard! hahah!!! He ran out soo fast and looked at me like he couldn't believe I did that to him! Now he won't go near the pantry anymore!!!!! |
Don't feel bad. I shut Kacee in my closet one night for about 10 minutes, too! I couldn't find her anywhere and then I went and looked and I had forgotten that whenever I got in there that she would go in unnoticed. For some reason, she likes to crawl under the hanging slacks and go to sleep. :D |
Ha Ha! Too cute...I have to do that occasionally. Follow the sounds or the scratchng to find them. My westie is always sleeping under someone's bed and I don't know how many times I have searched the entire neighborhodd thinking she got out only to realize that she is asleep under a bed....AAArrgghh! |
Cali gets locked in the closets and then we can't find her. We are caling all over and she has gone to sleep in there! |

Tinkerbell's done this! |
One time we were looking frantically for Lacey. We thought my dad or my brother let her out by accident. We called her name over and over and nothing. Looked in every room of the house over and over. We found her fast asleep in my dad's duffel bag that he left open. She fit right in and you could not even see her! A lot of times after Lacey went to the vet and had her shots, she would hide behind the couch. She just did not like to be bothered when she did not feel well. |
HAHA! Poor Chloe! Mommy came to the rescue! :D |
I did this to shelby when I first got her and it scared me to death. I couldn't find her anywhere in the house! but I heard her little cry. She has done this several times since then, now I know where to look. She always has a look on her face like she is wondering why Mommy did that but she isn't upset anymore. |
Poor Chloe! I bet she was having a blast! Hallie always sneaks in closets behind me but she doesn't make a peep, even when I call her name so I used to panic thinking I've lost her! I think maybe she's looking for a little quiet time ;) |
Gizmo did that several times! I finally learned to keep my closet door slightly ajar so he could not accidentally get locked in! |
Don't feel bad. We had Mellie for only 2 weeks when one night I could not find her anywhere. I thought she might have gotten out. I was frantically calling all over the neighborhood. Well after about 1/2 hour I went to through something in the garbarge can and out comes Mellie. She was perfectly content in there not a peep. I still cant figure out how she was in there it's the cabinet with the built in garbage cans doesn't look that big to me. |
Milo tries to crawl into the trash cabinet every time we open it...if he is in another room he hears the cabinet open and comes running-- it is funny I actually did close him in once to try to stop him from doing it again and when I opened the door like 10 secs later he was looking at me like "could you pleae close that again I am busy"-- they are ssssooo funny! |
