Update on Tori the Toy Poodle For everyone that read my other thread and have offered prayers for this little girl, I finally got to talk to the groomer receptionist (my friend Linda). Tori came through the surgery with flying colors and is resting comfortably as possible. She had a tumor the size of an egg:eek: that was encapsulated. It's being tested right now to see if it is, in fact, cancer, and if so, what kind. They'll know more in a few days. Your continued prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. YT rocks!!!! |
oh so glad tori came through with flying colors. praying its non cancerous. |
Thanks, me too:hands: I love that little dog, she's the sweetest thing:love: |
Glad that Toir came thru the surgery just fine. Praying that it's not cancer. Prayers will continue for Tori and her Mom. |
Glad Tori came thru the surgery. Hope it is not cancer. Still praying for Tori and her Momma.:animal-pa |
Great news! Keeping her in my prayers! |
I'm going to work at the groomer's today (I clean in exchange for my girls' grooming) so I'll be able to get more info hopefully. Oh, that reminds me, I need to stop into the store and pick up a "thinking of you" card so Linda can pass it on to Star (they live in the same condos). Thanks to all, you're the best:love: |
Praying this baby will be cancer free. So glad the surgery went okay. |
I'm so glad to hear she is recovering from surgery so well. Where was the tumor located? |

Anyway, tests aren't back until tomorrow at the earliest. So I'll update as soon as I hear something. |
Thank You for the update. We will keep Tori on our pray list for now. Hugs for you too ! |
I'm so glad she came through the surgery. I hope she'll be cancer-free. |
Well it's not good news for little Miss Tori:( The cancer that she has is aggressive and they are recommending just as aggressive radiation treatment. She would have to go to Gainesville, which is about 5 hours away, to get her the treatments. And the prognosis isn't that great even so:( Star is deciding now what to do, and is so confused and torn. Please pray for strength for her and Tori:hands: I got to see Tori yesterday, she looked so perky and wanted her usual belly rub from me. Poor baby had so many stitches, but she looks good, aside from a little weight loss (which she needed anyway, she was a little overweight before). I just can't imagine what Star is feeling now, Tori has been with her for 10 years and is all she has, since her husband passed away a couple of years ago:unlove: |
That is so sad. I can't imagine what that poor woman is going through. Well, I guess I kind of know. Anyone who has had a pet for 10 or more years and goes though so many things with them it is just too difficult to let go. Will pray.:( |
I will keep Tori and her owner in my prayers!! It is always hard to lose your dog, and it is especially hard after recently having lost someone you dearly love. I hate to think of anyone going through this heartbreak, and my prayers are with them! |
