Our Yorkie is agressive to visitors Our Yorkie is agressive when we have anybody visit, she follows them barking and growling at them. WE are so afraid that she is going to bite. What can we do to nip this in the bud? |
Well, first I would advise you to get her under control. When someone comes put her harness and leash on and keep her by your side. If she makes an aggressive sound or movement give her a correction. Many times dogs that act like that are actually insecure and feel threatened. Make sure you stay with her and help to introduce her to the person so she realizes that they are not a threat. You may need to get her out to socialize more so she knows that other people are not a threat to her or her family. It is going to take time so be patient with her and don't let her out of your sight. |
