how's that handsome little Hulk doing. Tufty has taken a shine to my socks, but we will be breaking him out of that habit. He's so determined to be in charge it's hilarious, trimming his claws yesterday was soooooo much fun he just didn't want to allow it. Buddy belt is brilliant and I will recommend it to big small teeny weeny. There was a couple getting them for their British bulldogs. at 50% off who wouldn't and the staff are so incredibly sweet and helpful |
For my fellow Ontarians and Canadian residents, I highly recommend two local companies who provide 100% Canadian product baked and dehydrated treats. Crumps of Caledon Ontario and N/A (Nothing Added ) Cambridge Ontario. Lots of variety of treats and all my dogs are fed. I used to purchase other products until I found out they got their meats from Thailand. |

did you know that buddy belt offer a one time replacement for chewed harnesses. My pet supply shop owner informed me. This isn't an issue for me because they get put out of reach after walks. I took Tufty to the park yesterday and two huskies wouldn't leave him alone, the little booger gave them what for, the owner was friggin useless, they barely listened to her, so I was right there with him stepping in when I felt the dogs were being too "attentive" lets call it. Other folk at the park said they noticed those two particular dogs are aggressive like that with any new dogs in the park. |
I did get to meet Buddy :) He was there very briefly first thing on Sunday. Cute little Daschund. Hulk is doing really well. He's really starting to come into his own, and he's becoming more confident by the day. I'm super proud of him. Right now we're focusing on his housebreaking. I want to get rid of the pee pads, and get him outside only. Also hoping to train him to use bells as well. So far he's rung them a few times. Sometimes it's a false alarm, and other times it isn't, so we're getting there. He's a sweetheart though. I love how he makes anyone and everyone melt. We've thought about changing his name to OHMYGOD because that's what he hears from people all the time, lol. What dog park do you go to, Teegy? I'm still not entirely confident bringing Hulk to one without a small breed area. He goes on playdates and to the parks (on a leash) or we've taken him to pawsway as well. It's probably something I need to work on, but I just worry about Hulk getting hurt... |

Way to go Hulk! I'm sure you are a charmer. LOL, at your proposed name change. We have the same problem with people running up to us or driving up to us and screaming. It scares the boys because they don't understand what is going on. :p |

to be honest I don't take him to the big dog parks like I used to only because he has so many friends in my neighbourhood to socialize with at our we local park or they come and have a run around at my place. But there is Cedarvale, Winston Churchill, Bayview and Moore, Sherwood (which I love as it's a walking off leash trail). Then downtown there is Allen Gardens, they have the park split into small dog and large dog areas). Plus joining my friend Charlene's little meet up group gives a gazillion friends too |
