Hating a little s**tzu in the neighborhood now! Ok I don't hate the dog just crappy owners. I didn't post this last night after Abbie's great escape. I took Mollie and Lizzie back out after Abbie was safe and sound and I regained 5 of the ten years I lost We were on or usual walk around the nature path and Mollie was trying to pee beside her favorite bush. Lol. My neighboros littl s**tzu came up and pee pee'd on her. I did go say anything right at that moment. I came in and gave her a bath and a treat. My girls are prissy and she was upset. I told my husband and this is the Sam little dog who keeps pooping in our yard. He has talked to the owner several times. The dog Actully stayed in our house farce for several hours last summer his owner forgot him I stewed about it all night and earlier in the day. I sat down and types the guy a two page letter about how irresponsible he was and how gross it picking up his dogs poops up. What is his dog was sick. I included the co laws about letting you dog run loose, a copy of the fines, a copy of the co kill shelter policy and a few poo bags to use until he could go by some. I even told home I would call animal control to pick up the dog if it was out again. Which I would never do since it is a kill shelter. The owner just left after seriously appigizing to my husband and assuring home once again that this would never happen again. He even offered to pick up poop in yard if there was any (of course there is none). Do you Gus think I went to far? |
No. It worked for you. Hope he keeps his promises. |
Sounds like you did the right thing and I hope the owner realizes how dangerous it is for his pup to be roaming around like that. |
I wish I had the guts to do that. Kudos to you! Some people should just not own pets. What is the point anyway if the dog's not being loved on, and just roaming around, missing for hours on end and no one even notices he's gone? |
Good for you:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Maybe it will make him realize that he needs to keep a better eye on his little dog.. To many people just open the door and let their dogs run loose.. So sad.. |
Hope he does what he says he will do. |
Good for YOU:)! I'm glad you stood up for yourself and I hope that his dog benefits from it by being watched more closely. I cannot believe that people just let their dogs outside to wander:cry: Do they not realize that there are CARS:eek: and bigger dogs, hawks, etc.:( I wish everyone was as caring as the members here:love: |
You did the right thing. I am VERY lucky that we have a small housing addition (60 houses in all) and we have lots of dogs of all sizes. We have never had any issues with any other neighbors and Brutey has a few "girlfriends" in our hood. I would have been really ticked off as well. Glad you got the apology you definately deserved. |
 I think you handled it extremely well. Keeping my fingers crossed that he pays more attention to his little one in the future...I bet it wants love and attention, like we all do:( |
I think you did it just right, and... Yea, I too can't spell correctly when I'm mad ! :D :D :D |
I don't blame you for reacting that way especially if your husband has already spoken with him about the problem. Maybe he'll listen this time! |
you did the right thing!! But I do feel sorry for the little guy that the owner doesn't watch after him better. |
