Tiny harnesses? Hi Happy Yorkie Folks :) We will be adding a Papillon pup to our house in a couple of weeks and I can't find any TINY harnesses. She will be 4lb-5lb full grown and I can't find anything even close to small enough for now. I have a Puppia I bought Angel that was too small that should be just right when she is grown but what to do for now? I can make tiny collars but I would feel a lot better with a nice step in harness like the Puppia. So far I can't find a thing and I have even resorted to searching under - ewwww - teacup  What have all'yall done for your little ones? |
Buddy belts make really tiny ones. Most here have size 3 for their pups, which is around 5-7 lbs. The size 2 is tiny, and the size 1 is miniscule. |
4 Attachment(s) Maybe get a ferret harness until she' fully grown before investing in an expensive one. That's what I've had to do with one of my girls. Here is Razael in her ferret harness with matching leash. |
HI , I FOUND A TINY T-SHIRT HARNESS . STARTS @ SIZE XXS FOR 1-2 POUND DOG.. CHECK IT OUT... Got R Done Harness Shirt - Red at BaxterBoo |
My dog was two pounds when she came to us and we went to Petco and they had a tiny pink harness, She is 3.6 now and wears a step in harness from Lupine. Hope this helps |
Thanks guys, I know I can always count on you. I have been wondering about the ferret harnesses. Right now she is not much bigger than a hamster. I am going to go visit this weekend and measure her and her mother. If all else fails I will put a collar/leash on her and then put her in the expen to do her business for extra protection. |
