Yorkie puppy aggression Hi! I recently got a pup. He's adorable, a bouncing ball of energy which is perfect for my lifestyle, but the problem is that he loves to bite. He bites anything he can get his teeth on, he even bit the vet today when I took him for his shots. Is this a common thing that most puppies go through and do they just grow out of it in their own time, or is there something I can do to help him learn that biting is a big "No, No"? |
Welcome to YT! It's very common and I would suggest redirecting him by giving him one of his toys. They are like children it's up to us as parents to teach them:) Best of luck and please post pics:D |
How old is your little one? He may be teething depending on age I would give mine frozen wash cloths to chew on when they were teething. I always do the finger point with a no and give Abbie a toy she is 4 months old now. She play bites when I play on the floor with her. She just doesn't know how hard she bites. With time and training they will grow out of it |
