Let's go for a walk.... Yesterday I take Bella for a walk. We usually do a 1/2 mile to a mile when we walk. Well yesterday here we go...we got about a football field length away from home and she stopped and stood and looked at me and then ran up and pounced my leg and stood there looking at me and back at the house. I could believe it...lol...little stinker, she did not want to walk. I ended up carrying her back home. To funny. That was a first for us. I had wondered if the pavement was to hot and she didn't want to walk on it? |
Tee hee! Funny little sweetie! I guess she just was not in the mood to walk. Katie Scarlett has not done anything like this yet, but I wouldn't put it past her. ;) |
Hahaha...too funny. Maci hasn't ever done something like this either but I know my cousin's yorkie has lain down right in the middle of a walk before and wouldn't budge. |

It must have been yesterday...Penny loves her walks. We got down the street and around the corner and she layed down and looked at me. I picked herup and carried her home. Today she wanted to run the entire walk! For me that is a walk fast :) |
Maggie doesn't like to walk when it is very warm. She prefers it a little cooler and likes it windy. She prefers dinner time or later. I guess she needs to nap all day to get ready! She does like to walk after her bath, even if it's warm. Some days she will go one or twomhousesmawaynthen want to go home. They are funny! |

I have the exact opposite problem. Brandi comes to a dead stop on the way home from our walks. She doesn't want to go home, she wants to walk some more. It is so funny because my neighbhors see this and they start laughing at me. I usually have to pick her up and carry her a few feet to get her to start walking home again. |
It is hot pavement season! Take your shoe off and see how it feels to you. I only walk Gracie early before it gets a chance to get too hot and later around 7pm right now. It gets complicated. I have to time it for wild animal time as well as heat this time of year. |
