Working Yorkies...? ;-) Are there any other working Yorkies here? Ellington basically comes out and about in the city with me - we go on trains, buses and the underground. We go to pubs, and to meetings. He will be coming to work with me everyday in my own salon too - the shop dog. Any other commuter dogs?! |
Georgie works from home with me:D He has to be on my desk or laying on my chest when I am on my laptop. You should post some pics of Ellington out and about with you:D |

Well, when I had my own studio Razzle and my dogs went to work with me every day. I varied the pack a bit as three dogs is a tad much every day. But two went with me each day. They were crated when I taught and then when not teaching they had free run of the office area. We took mid day walks, and in summertime mid day swims :-) We visited the different city parks and had lots of fun. Now I can only take one at a time as I am sharing space, and only on those days, when it is temperate enough cause they have to stay in car while I teach. So that lets off most of the winter and mid summer. But with my new van I am getting a Zanotti a separate Air conditioner - and watch Beaches here we come! All my dogs go to obedience training and spend some time almost every day in training. They love it. |

Oh my..Ellington is one lucky pup for sure! Such a worldly little fella:thumbup::D He has a wonderful busy little life that I know he really loves! Zhoie goes to my home office everyday and works with me....geez, it's such a long walk down the hallway ;) LOL :D. It's our routine and we are together everyday...so all is good:) |

My working yorkie My Sparky is coming home at the end of the month for a few days. He stays on the road with my brother, his daddy. He is a truck puppy. My brother owns an eighteen wheeler and Sparky keeps him company on the road. He gets to go all over the midwest and eastern states. He has his favorite companies that he likes to visit. The people in the guard shacks have gotten to know him and give him goodies every time he visits them. He is a great guard dog in the truck stops. He doesn't like strangers getting too close to his daddy and his truck.:aimeeyork |
1 Attachment(s) My Sakura comes to work with me every work day! I work in a Mardi Gras costume shop. She has her own chair next to my desk where she sleeps most of the day and tries to steal felt scraps to chew on. :D And here is my girl with a head piece from the year before last. |

I work from home, So Corky is home bound.. I am pretty sure my 13 year old daughter would take her dog to school everyday if she could. |
I did dog walking for a while and pet sitting so yup, he got to come with most days. :) He VERY much enjoyed and looked forward to our daily schedule. He loved seeing his "buddies" and going for a walk with them, or a dog park visit, etc. He helped raised a Rottweiler puppy and a Lab puppy in the process lol. Oh and a Boston Terrier mix puppy too. |

My Mojo comes with me when leave for work everyday. He'd follow me around in the morning when Im getting ready to leave. Then Id take his bag, lower it to the floor and say "Inside the bag" and he'd step right in, make a 90 degree turn and sit inside facing front. He usually sleep on the floor of the car specially when i open the a/c vent for the feet. WHenever I go inside a restaurant. Id open his bag, he'd step in again and when I say "hide inside bag" he'd crouch really low and just sleep through my lunch. Id know he's really relax when i look inside his bag and he's sleeping on his back hahaha. |
We take them to work with us but like a previous poster, we alternate. All 4 in the office with me, my daughter, my grandson and ocassionally my husband would be too much!! Allie enjoys it most I think because she gets one on one mommy time. We work a few blocks from our house so we drive but I'd like to start walking. |

Aww thank you for asking after his belly. Yes, it has seemed to settled a lot. The runny poo stopped, although I did have a day of 6 normal poos....which felt a little crazy.....no idea how it all fit inside him!! He he. He's off the boiled chicken, and on to the kibble I have been wanting to feed him, and he seems better overall. Poo is perhaps a tad too soft at times, but I'm just keeping an eye on it for now. It is definitely pretty normal though. Never have I thought about poo so much! |
