Booster Seat I found a great find today in Ross clothing store. I purchased a booster seat for $14.99. I was wondering is there anyway to tweak the car seat to make it work for two. I'm getting two dogs on Friday and it looks as if both can fit in it but there is only one safety belt. I don't have room for two booster seats as my car seats 5. I have a hubby and two children. Any suggestions? |
1 Attachment(s) If they can both fit you can get a double coupler. Like the one from buddy belt. :) Or something similar. |

Super idea. Where can I purchase one of those? I typed a misprint on my original posting. I'm not bringing the pups home until Saturday. |
The coupler is a great idea. Congratulations on you new additions. You should post pictures when they come home :) |

That's a fantastic deal:)! I tried the coupler thing with my two and they just ended up tangled together:eek:  Now I take the coupler end and clip it to the center ring, around the seatbelt that holds the car seat. One is hooked to the seatbelt and the other to the carseat belt. Does that make any sense? Anyway, just something to think about if your two get tangled up too much like mine did. Congrats on your new addition!!! |
Thanks for the wonderful ideas guys. I will definitely be giving this a try. I will be posting pics on Saturday. |
I have a car seat that has a clip that is supposed to have one clip on the ring on the seat and one clip on the harness. But the lead is really long, and when I got Somi I ran the lead through the D-ring on the seat and clipped each end to their harnesses. [this is for the short time my babies got along that is.. :( ] So if the lead is attached with a D-ring time thing, you could run the lead through there and have one on each end of it. And if they pull each other back and forth, you can just knot it around the D-ring. Good luck on traveling with all your babies! :) |
